I'm a star! Not really

Here I am singing the national anthem at the Pecos Rodeo. Pecos is the where the world's first rodeo was held. One of the very few cool things about Pecos. I also sang a week before at Pecos's annual golden girl pagent and made the newspaper. Woohoo!

Family visit

Chad's mom, and two brothers came to Pecos for a visit. Chad and Chris played in a golf tournament and won! We were very proud. We went to a dance later that it. It was so nice to have company. Thanks for coming!

Our 1 Year Anniversary!

What a year it has been. They say the first year of marriage is one of the toughest, but ours was pretty easy (and that's even with us moving to Pecos). I know we haven't been at this very long, but God has truly blessed us with a wonderful marriage. And we will continue to work hard at it! We went to Midland for dinner, Chad surprised me with flowers and Reese's peanut butter cups, and I made him biscuits and chocolate chip cookies (both from scratch, thank you very much!). What a great anniversary it has been. We are fixing to eat the to of our wedding cake! Sorry, for some reason it won't let me upload some pictures.

our garden

Jennifer wanted to see our garden so here it is. Not much to it, just like 3 or 4kinds of tomatoes and some radishes. We also planted some flowers but they haven't bloomed yet. They take a while to grow. But that's ok, it's just fun planting something and seeing it grow!

Memorial Weekend

We went to Brownwood and visited Chad's family. His mom cooked us lots of good food, and so did Memaw. We fished a lot and played golf. We met up with Chad's friends Chad V. and Kyle. Then we met my family in Cleburn for breakfast. So we got to see everybody and had a wonderful time. Now we have to drive home, stopping in Midland to do a ton of grocery shopping:(

I have a group of friends that meet for lunch every Tuesday. They are such sweet girls. We miss Stephanie who moved to Georgia!
