family picture day

It was so great to be with my family. We all got together to get family portraits taken. I haven't been home since January so I was getting pretty homesick. But I had the best time with my siblings, parents, neices, nephews, and of course my husband!

4th in Fredricksburg

What a great time we had in Fredricksburg. Rick and Cindy took me, Chad and Chris to a bed a breakfast. The guys went to play golf and the girls went shopping! We got to eat at Rather Sweet which had the best desserts. We even got to go to Luckenbock! It was awesome being where Willie had played so many times. We ate way to much this weekend but it was worth it. Thanks Dad and Cindy for a wonderful weekend!

I'm a star! Not really

Here I am singing the national anthem at the Pecos Rodeo. Pecos is the where the world's first rodeo was held. One of the very few cool things about Pecos. I also sang a week before at Pecos's annual golden girl pagent and made the newspaper. Woohoo!

Family visit

Chad's mom, and two brothers came to Pecos for a visit. Chad and Chris played in a golf tournament and won! We were very proud. We went to a dance later that it. It was so nice to have company. Thanks for coming!

Anniversary pix

Our 1 Year Anniversary!

What a year it has been. They say the first year of marriage is one of the toughest, but ours was pretty easy (and that's even with us moving to Pecos). I know we haven't been at this very long, but God has truly blessed us with a wonderful marriage. And we will continue to work hard at it! We went to Midland for dinner, Chad surprised me with flowers and Reese's peanut butter cups, and I made him biscuits and chocolate chip cookies (both from scratch, thank you very much!). What a great anniversary it has been. We are fixing to eat the to of our wedding cake! Sorry, for some reason it won't let me upload some pictures.

our garden

Jennifer wanted to see our garden so here it is. Not much to it, just like 3 or 4kinds of tomatoes and some radishes. We also planted some flowers but they haven't bloomed yet. They take a while to grow. But that's ok, it's just fun planting something and seeing it grow!
